Waiheke Island is located 17.7kms east of Auckland in the Hauraki Gulf, in the North Island of New Zealand.

Getting here is simple, either a 35 minute passenger ferry trip from Downtown Auckland, or a 45 minute vehicle ferry trip from Half Moon Bay.  Air Services are also available.

Transport options include regular bus service and taxis, alternatively cars, scooter and bicycles are also available for hire.

The beaches are safe and in most cases, child-friendly.
