With caves and wonderful rock walks to be had from this location and Native Tui surrounding the property as they play and sing.

The open plan living space, located on the top floor, consists of a comfortable lounge, a cosy dining area and designer kitchen. The private sun-washed north facing deck runs off the lounge and is ideal for morning coffee during sunrise and a delicious BBQ at sunset, all while you overlook the fabulous Hauraki Gulf.

4 comfortable bedrooms are located downstairs, 3 of which open onto a deck allowing you enjoyment of the superb views over the bay, and the fourth having its own separate external entrance.

Please note that there is a steep driveway leading to the front door. Kindly park in front of the garage, which is half way up the drive, and walk around the front of the house to reach the entrance.

Drop Anchor offers a truly unique Kiwi beach holiday experience. This wonderful cottage is an historic property, having been the original farm managers home when Waiheke was mainly a large Island  farm.

This delightful 4 bedroom 2 bathroom holiday home sits directly beachfront on Enclosure Bay. This property was built in 1920 by the family who originally owned and farmed Enclosure Bay. It has only recently been renovated to make it a modern chic laid back holiday home where we have deliberately kept that yesteryear Retro feel. Drop Anchor is perfectly situated being directly across the road from the beautiful Enclosure Bay beach (only 40 paces away), one of Waiheke’s best kept secrets. A beach that at high tide becomes like a giant enclosed swimming pool.

Historic Drop Anchor sits beach side on Enclosure Bay, which is only a few kilometers from Oneroa Village, Oneroa Beach and Palm Beach, therefore perfectly positioned. This 4 bedroom character filled holiday cottage, has gone through a complete make over where the inside was gutted and replaced with modern facilities and furnishings, but we have definitely kept the old world Retro style giving it a delightful charm and feel to it. Sitting on the deck gives one the feeling they maybe on a cruise liner as the water is at eye height and so close. You get to enjoy all day sun from this gem.

This is a classic property, which perfectly represents the type of Bach the grand parents used to have, many of you may remember such a place in your youth, where as kids, we loved the situation of being able to spend all day on the beach and run home without having to worry about sand on our feet or being told off by the oldies for making a mess.

Drop Anchor is one of very few properties remaining in that original state, a real classic gem which has now gone through a complete upgrade and makeover, making it super cool and comfortable.

The main house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bed configuration has the Master bedroom with a California (split-able) King bed in a large room which opens onto the wrap around covered deck, with the view across the Bay. The second bedroom has a split king bed. and the third bedroom has a King single bed. The sleep-out which is at the back door has a queen bed and single bed along with a full bathroom.

The kitchen is completely remodeled with gas oven and hob, dishwasher, micro wave and fridge freezer, along with being well equipped with most everything you may need to whip up the great meal.. We have kept the cupboards as they were, although repainted, they are still the same colour.

The living /dining room are open plan, with a large hand made table and benches, and the lounge has all new furniture. A 40” TV is on the wall equipped with Sky channels, along with a stereo which has a USB connection for smart phones, and of course free Wifi.

Drop Anchor is truly delightful, which will suit guests looking for that special and memorable holiday experience, they just don’t make houses like this anymore.

The sunny wrap around deck has BBQ and outdoor furniture. A big flat lawn runs off the front, and there is a further lawn to the rear, this has a purpose built area for a tent.
